Miss Abafor is originally from Anambra State, but had all her schooling in the North. She went to Ecwa Nursery & Primary School in Kano for her primary schooling  and the Holy Trinity Mision School also in Kano for her secondary schooling. She got seven  distinctions out of 9 subjects including two (2) A1 s in her SSC Exams. She later gained admission into the Modibbo Adama University of Technology in Yola, Adamawa State  to study Industrial Chemistry.

She graduated with a First Class Honours degree with  a cummulative grade point average of 4.78. She  was the best graduating student in the Department of Chemistry in 2017

Miss Abafor  will be going for a Master of science degree in organic chemistry.
