Dr. Achebe attended the University of Nigeria Secondary School on the Enugu Campus for her secondary schooling. She had nine (9) distinctions out of the nine (9) subjects she sat for in her Senior Secondary Certificate Exams, including five (5) A1 grade.

She went on to attend the College of Medicine of the University of Nigeria, where she graduated with a MBBS degree with distinction in Physiology and Pharmacology. She was the best graduating student in the Faculty of Medical Sciences in 2012/2013 session.

Dr Achebe will be pursuing a postgraduate course in Physiology.
